About the Event
Do you, or someone you know suffer from chronic pain?
Approx 20% of the population suffer with chronic pain or a chronic pain condition.
Join Osteopaths Jos Murdoch and Pippa Cossens for this informative interactive workshop.
They will cover the latest understanding of pain and the difference between acute and chronic pain, the neuroscience involved and give you tools to help you manage and even recover from your pain.
Both Jos and Pippa also have their own chronic pain recovery stories that they will share with you.
Jos is a Registered Osteopath with over 25 years experience working in the UK & Overseas. Having moved to Moray in the midst of the pandemic she joined Greenbrae Steading last year, inspired by the community feel Neil & Lucy have created.
Her passion is to optimise health. She has a background in Biomedical Sciences & Pharmacology and helps patients navigate often complex health needs.
Pippa Cossens is a Registered Osteopath and SIRPA Trained Chronic Pain Recovery Coach She owns and manages Osteopathy For All in East Sussex. Pippa has a specialist interest in working with people experiencing chronic pain and stress illness. Having used the SIRPA approach to recover herself from fibromyalgia she and her colleagues at Osteopathy For All now combine this Mindbody approach to help others manage and recover from chronic pain.
They work both in person and online and have developed an online Change Your Pain toolkit to assist people in their recovery. In 2021 Osteopathy For All was awarded Practice of The Year by the Institute of Osteopathy for being a ‘chronic pain clinic with a difference’
